Elections for the office of Guam Legislature took place in 2020. The general election was held on November 3, 2020. A primary was scheduled for August 29, 2020. The filing deadline was June 30, 2020.

The Legislature of Guam was one of seven territory legislative chambers holding elections in 2020. All 15 at-large seats in the Legislature of Guam were up for election.

Qualifications

To be eligible to serve in the Legislature of Guam, a candidate must be:[2]

  • A United States citizen.
  • At least 25 years of age.
  • A resident of Guam for at least five years prior to the election.

The candidate must not have been convicted of a felony or of a crime involving moral turpitude.

Swearing in dates

Guam legislators assume office the first Monday in January following the November election.[3]
