Midland Independent School District Bond Measures (1965)

The Midland Independent School District put two bond proposals on the ballot in 1965. One sought $3.05 million for the Goddard Junior High and the Edison and Emerson elementary schools. The other sought $450,000 for air conditioning in the Midland High School and Carver Center. Both measures were approved; the number of votes against the second measure are not available. These were the district's 14th and 15th bond elections.[1]
