Geraldine Valentino-Smith (Democratic Party) was a member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 23A. She assumed office on January 12, 2011. She left office on January 11, 2023.

Valentino-Smith (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Maryland House of Delegates to represent District 23A. She won in the general election on November 6, 2018.

Biography

Valentino-Smith earned her B.S. in Nursing from Catholic University in 1987 and her J.D. from Columbia School of Law in 1992. Her professional experience includes working as an attorney and a clinical nurse at the National Institutes of Health.

Elections for the Maryland House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 24, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Incumbent Geraldine Valentino-Smith was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Valentino-Smith defeated Shukoor Ahmed (I) in the general election.[1][2][3]
