Michael Oputa was a Democratic candidate for District 24 of the Maryland House of Delegates. The primary election was on September 14, 2010, and the general election was on November 2.

Oputa is facing Tiffany Alston, Nancy Dixon-Saxon, Clayton Aarons, Carolyn Howard (incumbent), Sherry James-Strother, Greg Hall, Byron Richardson, Michael Vaughn (incumbent) and Kenneth Williams in the September 14 primary. Oputa was defeated by Carolyn Howard (incumbent), Michael Vaughn (incumbent) and Tiffany Alston in the Democratic primary.[1]
