A special election for the position of New Hampshire House of Representatives District Hillsborough 15 was called for November 7, 2017. A primary election was held on September 19, 2017. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 30, 2017.[1]
The seat became vacant on March 27, 2017, when Steve Vaillancourt (R) died from heart-related issues.[2]
Erika Connors was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Albert MacArthur Jr. defeated Andy Parent in the Republican primary. Connors defeated MacArthur in the special election.[1]
