I am an engineer that retired from General Motors and now work at Faurecia. I have been married to my wife Susan since June 1996. We have two sons Ryan (22) a Senior in Biochemistry at University of Evansville and Nick (20) a Sophomore in Pharmacy at Butler University.

I just finished 16 years as a Greenwood City Council so I have the experience to move to the state level.

  • Amending the state laws to correct issues with the economic development system.
  • Traffic Issues need more than roundabouts
  • Return Civility to the political process
Economic Development is too focused to benefit the cities. Schools and Libraries are being short changed in the current structure.
The politician I look up to the most is the late US Senator Richard Lugar. He made a career out of working with both Republicans and Democrats to get the best outcome for everyone.
The quality I think will best allow me to do my job is my ability to analyze data to come to a logical conclusion.
Taxi by Harry Chapin - He was a great story teller and I saw him many times in concert.

If I Had a Million Dollars by The Bare Naked Ladies - Another artist I have seen live many times with great comic overtones.
I believe that my 16 years as a Greenwood City Councilman has given me the background to understand the political process and also gives the public a voting record they can examine.
I believe it is critical to find the common ground between the parties. If the majority continues to force their agenda through the legislature, then when the other party gains control everything is reversed.
Since I will be 64 when the next session starts, I do not see myself running for any higher office.
