Calvin Campbell
Calvin C. Campbell was a judge of the Illinois First District Appellate Court, 4th Division. He was elected to the court in 1978 and retired in 2008. He passed away on February 12, 2015.[1]
Education
Campbell was born in Roanoke, Virginia. In 1948, he received an A.B. degree from Howard University in Washington, D.C., and he graduated from the University of Chicago Law School with his J.D. in 1951. Campbell was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1951.[2]
Military career
Campbell was a member of the infantry during World War II and received a Bronze Star.[2]
