Elections for the New Hampshire House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Mark Preston was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Max Abramson, Francis Chase and Dennis B. Sweeney were unopposed in the Republican primary. John H. Kelley (I) and Edward T. Cody (I) did not qualify for the general election ballot. Preston, write-in candidate David Ahearn (D), Abramson, Chase and Sweeney faced off in the general election.[1] Republicans Abramson, Chase, and Sweeney defeated Democrats Preston and Ahearn in the general election.[2]
