Emma Rous
Emma Rous (b. October 1, 1944) is a former Democratic member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Strafford 7 from 2002 to 2010.
Biography
Rous earned her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College; M.A. from Columbia University and C.A.S. from the Harvard School of Education. Her professional experience includes working in curriculum development for the Education Development Center; as a high school teacher for Oyster River School District, facilitator of New Hampshire Department of Education, and education consultant for the University of New Hampshire.[1]

Rous did not seek re-election to Strafford 7 in 2010.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Rous finished third for the six-seat Strafford 7 District in New Hampshire receiving 5,815 votes, behind Democrats Janet Wall(8,056), and Naida Kaen(5,936), and ahead of Democrats Marjorie Smith(5,730), Judith Spang(5,668) and Timothy Horrigan(5,629) and Others(52).[2]
