On November 4, 2008, Caron was elected by finishing first for the three-seat Hillsborough District 25 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives receiving 1,774 votes, ahead of Democrat Timothy Soucy (1,718), Republican Edith Hogan (1,651), Democrat Peter Cote (1,451), and Republican Jacqueline Casey (1,185). [2]
