Muni Savyon
Muni Savyon was a Republican candidate in the February 21, 2012 special election for the New Hampshire House of Representatives, Hillsborough 10. The special election was called to fill the vacancy created when Michael Brunelle (D) resigned to take a job with the Pennsylvania Service Employees International Union (SEIU).[1]
On August 11, 2013, Savyon shot his 9-year-old son to death before taking his own life during supervised visitation at a YWCA office. Savyon wrote a letter to a friend before the shootings suggesting that he was suicidal and had been depressed since returning from his brother's funeral in Israel.[2]
