Peter Kucmas
Peter Kucmas was a Republican candidate in the May 17 special election for the New Hampshire House of Representatives, Hillsborough 4. The special election was called to fill a vacancy created when Robert Mead (R) resigned to accept a position as Chief of Staff for House Speaker William O'Brien (R).
Kucmas is a resident of New Boston where he lives with wife, Tammy, and their children. Kucmas' parents escaped from socialist Czechoslovakia but were forced to flee without their children. In 1975, his father was able to negotiate the emigration of Kucmas, his sister, and grandmother.[1]

2011
Kucmas was defeated by Jennifer Daler (R) in the May 17 special election by a 1,401 to 1,007 margin.[4][5]
