I am a conservative Christian. I was born in Wabash, graduated from Manchester University (Economics/Psychology). I have done some graduate studies at Ivy Tech and at University of Indianapolis. I was in sales for 20 years including selling real estate, insurance and new home construction. Most recently I served 8 years as pastor at South Pleasant UM Church. I have been on about 9 mission trips, most recently a month in Zambia.
I want to defend the US Constitution and the 24 unalienable rights that come from God. These include the rights to: keep and bear arms, privacy, assembly, religion, free press, free trade, liberty and property. But I especially want to uphold the right to life by passing "protection at conception," to outlaw any and all abortions in the state of Indiana.
Ronald Reagan. I love the fact that he lowered taxes which actually DOUBLED the revenue to the US Treasury in only 8 years.!! The problem was a failure to limit Federal spending, and a continued practice of borrowing money. It is Immoral to borrow money you cannot pay off in your own lifespan. When we leave a debt for children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to pay, we are stealing from them. This is unconscionable and immoral and must be stopped!!
To defend the US Constitution which we all take an oath to uphold.
To make good laws which benefit the residents of the whole state.
To outlaw abortion forever in the State of Indiana. And hopeful that the other states will soon do the same, until abortion is totally illegal in the whole United States.
5000 Year Leap- Scousen
This is great American History which describes how Cicero, a Roman and Pantheist before Christ predicted: "If we could learn the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God, we could live like the gods." Our US Founders understood these "laws of Nature" are the 24 unalienable rights which come from the God of the Bible. By protecting these rights in the US Constitution, we have seen a 5000 year leap in history in 200 years like never seen before, anywhere in the world.
No. It is best for people to have someone from each area represent the residents of their District to make the best laws for the state.
We must keep taxes low and root out any waste, abuse and government fraud. We need to protect the unborn by passing "Protection at Conception," so abortion is totally stopped in Indiana. I will also work to pass Constitutional Carry as is law in 15 other states.
The governor should enforce the laws passed by the legislature and recommend any changes with his reasons for wanting them.
Yes. This is crucial in order to garner the support needed to pass legislation thru committee and on the floor with all other legislators.
I am a Constitutional Conservative, and I respect Curt Nisly for standing up for Amendment 2, and fighting for Protection at Conception. Amendment 14 says: "No person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law. ". We are called upon by Law and by God to defend the rights of the unborn citizens.
