John Flanders
John Flanders (b. February 4, 1927) is a former Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He represented the Rockingham 8 District from 1984 to 2010. Flanders also ran for the Democratic/Republican parties in 1996.
Flanders is a retired truck driver. His other professional experiences include part time deputy sheriff and the United States Navy.
Flanders graduated from Malden High School. He and his wife, Dorothy, have four children.[1]

On November 4, 2008, Flanders won re-election by finishing first out of eleven candidates for the seven-seat Rockingham District 8 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, receiving 5,041 votes in the recount, down from 5,065.[2]
