Edward Roscoe Meek
Edward Roscoe Meek (1865-1939) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
He received a recess appointment from President William McKinley on July 13, 1898 and was nominated on December 13th. He was confirmed by the Senate on February 15, 1899, and received commission that same day. He assumed senior status on December 31, 1935. He served until his death on April 10, 1939.[1] Meek was succeeded in this position by Thomas Whitfield Davidson.
