Jason Bourne is a Sullivan County native, a long-term member of the Town of Cornish Zoning Board, and a technology professional working in NH's high-tech industry for the past 25+ years. He is a pro-education, pro-choice, and pro-economy candidate who wants to ensure that NH stands firmly in support of our public education system, our personal and medical rights, and our ability to sustain and grow our economy with a skilled workforce and affordable housing.
  • Education is fundamental and foundational to building vibrant communities and our economic path forward. I will support legislation which increases funding for public education at the state level, and which empowers our educators and students to speak freely and to embrace diversity as important 21st Century skills.
  • Reproductive decisions should be between a woman and her doctor. I will support legislation which strengthens access to high-quality and safe reproductive healthcare in New Hampshire and guarantee the privacy rights of every resident.
  • Building a skilled workforce begins with education, but must also target our housing crisis. High costs and insufficient housing units present obstacles to attracting the vital demographic NH needs to sustain its economic vitality and grow. I will work for legislation and programs to make both home ownership and affordable housing broadly available to all Granite Staters.
I am running for office to stand up for the rights of my fellow New Hampshirites. The push to restrict free speech in schools, the threat to the healthcare of women and privacy in medical treatment, and the willful ignorance of a need to diversify our energy sources while protecting our environment in NH threatens our lifestyle in the "Live Free or Die" state in ways I can no longer tolerate. I'm running for office now to ensure that NH remains a wonderful place to live, work, and play.
