John Paul, Jr.
John Paul, Jr. (1883-1964) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia.[1]
He was nominated by President Herbert Hoover on December 15, 1931 to replace Henry Clay McDowell. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 11, 1932, and received commission January 14th. From 1948 to 1958, he was the chief judge. On August 1, 1958, he assumed senior status and continued to serve in this capacity until his death on February 13, 1964.[1]
