A special election for the position of New Hampshire House of Representatives District Merrimack 18 was called for July 18, 2017. A primary election was held on May 30, 2017. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 31, 2017.[1]
The seat became vacant on February 2, 2017, when Andrew deTreville (D) resigned from the state House.[1]
Kris Schultz defeated Marc Lacroix in the special Democratic primary. Michael P. Feeley was unopposed in the special Republican primary.[2] Schultz defeated Feeley in the special election.[3]
