I am a devoted wife and mother of four children, a recent law school graduate, a conservative, and a hard-working taxpayer. My husband and I are raising our family here with a deep commitment to our core values. It is my children and their future that has inspired me to take on this new challenge.

I was raised in Severna Park. After graduating from Severna Park High School, I attended the University of Maryland, College Park, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy. Afterwards, while studying counseling at Loyola University and working with the Anne Arundel County Crisis Response Team, I learned first-hand of the diverse issues that affect our residents.

Inspired by the need for advocacy in our community, I went on to study at the University of Maryland School of Law. I had the opportunity, in my first year of law school, to work at the Anne Arundel Circuit Court with Judge Cathy Vitale. I have been very active in my children’s school, on my community HOA board, and as a board member of the Severna Park Republican Women’s Club.
As a mother of four children, I want to ensure that our children are safe in our neighborhoods and that they get a quality education that prepares them to compete in the new world economy. I am passionate about the future, which means that I will always put people ahead of politics.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Maryland

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
