I am an educator by profession and an immigrant from Canada, naturalized four years ago. I am a strong advocate for educational choice and market freedoms. Education: M.A. Political Science, Boston University; M.A. History, University of Toronto; M. Ed. Western Governors University.
  • I am for educational freedom. I support education savings accounts and other options for market freedom in education.
  • I support returning control of the economy to the people, cutting government spending and intervention. I will vote against ALL proposed taxes.
  • I was brought up in a family and a community which embraces differences, such as ethnicity and sexual orientation. I will bring policies which do the same.
I am most interested in educational choice, protection of the right to bare arms for self defense, lowering taxation and spending and stronger public oversight of the police.
Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher is a wonderful example to anyone seeking to hold political office. I wish she was alive and running for president of the United States today.
To understand my political philosophy, read Murray Rothbard, Friedrich Hayek, John Stewart Mill, John Locke and Ayn Rand.
Honesty, Embracing of differences such as culture, sexual orientation and gender, strong support for human freedom and the Non Aggression Principle, and formal education.
Increasing protection of human rights and liberty, which means reducing the power and scope of government.
Experience is always beneficial. Many people confuse experience with corruption but this is not a valid connection. Experience gives one the deeper skills, as well as the reputation in the legislature, needed to be an effective law maker. However I fully understand why many are suspicious of longer serving politicians. It is those reasons that I am running with an alternative party - the Libertarian Party. We need fresh options to displace the extremely corrupt establishment parties and crony politicians.
Eliminate geographical districts altogether and have a system based on virtual electoral districts which voters could opt into by choice.
