Robert McLaren is a judge of the Illinois 2nd District Appellate Court. He assumed office on December 5, 1988. His current term ends on December 4, 2028.

McLaren ran for re-election for judge of the Illinois 2nd District Appellate Court. He won in the retention election on November 6, 2018.

Biography

Robert McLaren was born in Oak Park, Illinois. He earned a bachelor's degree from Monmouth College in 1966 and a law degree from Drake University in 1969. McLaren's career experience includes working as Assistant and Special Assistant States' Attorney, an associate judge of the 18th Circuit Court and a Circuit Judge of the 18th Circuit Court. McLaren was elected to serve as an Appellate Judge in 1988.[1][2][3]
