Julie Brown
Julie Brown (b. February 20, 1935) is a former Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing the Strafford 1 District from 1988 to 2012. Brown's other political experiences include the Rochester Planning Board; vice-chair of Rochester Republican City Commission and member of Rochester Republican City Commission.
Brown's professional experience is as a homemaker.
Brown attended Worcester State Teachers College.

Brown ran in the 2012 election for New Hampshire House of Representatives, Strafford 23. Brown was defeated by Cliff Newton in the September 11 primary election.[2][3]

On November 2, 2010, Brown won election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives.[4][5]

She faced incumbent Sandra Keans (D), incumbent Anne Grassie (D), incumbent Elaine Lauterborn (D), incumbent William Brennan (D), incumbent Pamela Hubbard (D), incumbent Rose Marie Rogers (D), incumbent Warren Groen (R), Shawn Mickelonis (D), Pete Dow (D), Sandra Teti (D), Laura Jones (R), Cliff Newton (R), Kyle Jones (R), Fred Leonard (R), Bernhard McKay (R), Susan DeLemus (R), and Evelyn Logan (R) in the November 2 general election.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Brown finished sixth for the nine-seat Strafford District 1 in New Hampshire receiving 5,739 votes, behind Democrats Sandra Keans(6,537), Anne Grassie(6,525), Pamela Hubbard(5,887), Elaine Lauterborn(5,851), and William Brennan(5,784) and ahead of Republicans James Twombly(5,623), Warren Groen(5,531) and Democrat Rose Marie Rogers(5,474) and Others(49).[6]
