William Brennan (New Hampshire)
William Brennan (b. July 5, 1931) is a former Democratic member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Strafford 1 from 1996 to 2002, and 2006 to 2010.
Brennan was a candidate for Strafford 1 in 2004 and Strafford 67 in 2002. His other political experience includes serving as a city councilor and a member of New Hampshire School Board.
Biography
Brennan earned his B.A. from Saint Anselm College and M.Ed. from Northeastern University. His professional experience includes teaching in various school systems and serving as a location man for the United States Marines.[1]

Brennan advanced past the September 14 primary election. He faced incumbent Sandra Keans (D), incumbent Anne Grassie (D), incumbent Elaine Lauterborn (D), incumbent Pamela Hubbard (D), incumbent Rose Marie Rogers (D), incumbent Warren Groen (R), incumbent Julie Brown (R), Shawn Mickelonis (D), Pete Dow (D), Sandra Teti (D), Laura Jones (R), Cliff Newton (R), Kyle Jones (R), Fred Leonard (R), Bernhard McKay (R), Susan DeLemus (R), and Evelyn Logan (R) in the November 2 general election.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Brennan finished fifth for the nine-seat Strafford District 1 in New Hampshire receiving 5,784 votes, behind Democrats Sandra Keans(6,537), Anne Grassie(6,525), Pamela Hubbard(5,887), and Elaine Lauterborn(5,851) and ahead of Republicans Julie Brown(5,739), James Twombly(5,623), Warren Groen(5,531) and Democrat Rose Marie Rogers(5,474) and Others(49).[2]
