Guy Laverne Fake
Guy Laverne Fake (1879-1957) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
He was nominated by President Calvin Coolidge on February 4, 1929 to replace James McCarthy. He was confirmed by the Senate on February 12th, and received commission that same day. From 1948 to 1951, he served as the chief judge and on February 21, 1951, he assumed senior status. He served until his death on September 23, 1957.[1] Fake was succeeded in this position by Richard Hartshorne.
