Louis Henry Burns (1878-1928) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

He received a recess appointment from President Calvin Coolidge on October 3, 1925 to replace Charlton Reid Beattie. On December 8, 1925, he was nominated. He was confirmed by the Senate on December 21, 1925, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on June 9, 1928.[1] Burns was succeeded in this position by Wayne Borah.
