2014
Elections for the New Hampshire House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Four candidates faced off in the Democratic primary, while four candidates faced off in the Republican primary. A full list of candidates that ran in the general election can be found here.[6] The general election was contested by three Democrats and three Republicans. The Democrats were incumbent Michael Garcia, incumbent Timothy Soucy and Allison Nutting. The Republicans participating were Duane Erickson, Edith Hogan and Timothy Twombly. Soucy (D), Hogan (R) and Twombly (R) defeated Garcia (D), Nutting (D) and Erickson (R) in the general election.[7]

Soucy won election in the 2012 election for New Hampshire House of Representatives, Hillsborough 34. Soucy was unopposed in the September 11 primary election and won election in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[8][9]
2010
Soucy failed to advance past the November 2, 2010, general election.
Soucy advanced past the September 14 primary election. He faced Mark Wholey (D), incumbent Edith Hogan (R), Bil Bonnice (D), Timothy Twombly (R), and Duane Erickson (R) in the November 2 general election.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Soucy was elected by finishing second for the three-seat Hillsborough 25 District of the New Hampshire House of Representatives receiving 1,718 votes, behind Democrat June Caron (1,774), and ahead of Republican Edith Hogan (1,651), Democrat Peter Cote (1,451), and Republican Jacqueline Casey (1,185). [10]
