Alfred Carr
Alfred Carr (Democratic Party) was a member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 18. He assumed office on December 20, 2007. He left office on January 11, 2023.
Carr (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Maryland House of Delegates to represent District 18. He did not appear on the ballot for the Democratic primary on July 19, 2022.
Carr is the former Mayor Pro Tem for the Town of Kensington, serving from 2006 to 2007.

Carr's professional experience includes working as an engineer and former telecommunications manager.

Elections for the Maryland House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 24, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Incumbents Al Carr, Ana Sol Gutierrez and Jeff Waldstreicher defeated Natali Fani-Gonzalez, Rick Kessler, Elizabeth Matory and Emily Shetty in the Democratic primary and were unopposed in the general election.[1][2][3]

Carr successfully won re-election in the general election on November 2, 2010. No Republicans ran for the seat.[4]
