Incumbents Linda DiSilvestro and William O'Neil defeated Thomas Evans in the Democratic primary, while Win Hutchinson and Douglas Whitfield defeated Anthony Pugh in the Republican primary.[5] Democrats O'Neil and DiSilvestro defeated Hutchinson and Whitfield in the general election.[6]
