Henry Hitt Watkins (1866-1947) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of South Carolina.
He was nominated by President Woodrow Wilson on July 14, 1919 to fill the seat vacated by Joseph Travis Johnson. He was confirmed by the Senate on July 22nd, and received commission that same day. On December 31, 1936, he assumed senior status.[1] He served until his death on September 8, 1947. Watkins was succeeded in this position by Charles Wyche.
