Harrie Brigham Chase (1889-1969) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. He joined the court in 1929 after an appointment from Calvin Coolidge. At the time of his appointment, he was an associate justice on the Vermont Supreme Court. On September 1, 1954, he assumed senior status. He served until his death on November 17, 1969.[1]

Second Circuit

He was nominated by President Calvin Coolidge on January 19, 1929 to a new seat created by 45 Stat. 1081. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 31, 1929, and received commission that same day. In 1953 and 1954, he was the chief judge. On September 1, 1954, he assumed senior status. He served until his death on November 17, 1969.[1]
