Seth Shepard
Seth Shepard (1847-1917) was the Chief Justice of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
He was nominated by President Theodore Roosevelt on December 16, 1904. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 5, 1905, and received commission that same day. He retired on September 30, 1917.[1]

Seth Shepard was previously a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
He was nominated by President Grover Cleveland on April 14, 1893. He was confirmed by the Senate on April 15, 1893, and received commission that same day. He served until January 19, 1905, when he was appointed to another judicial position.[1]
