Information Technology Oversight Committee, New Hampshire State Legislature
The Information Technology Oversight Committee is a standing joint committee of the New Hampshire General Court.
Per state statute, the Speaker of the House appoints three House members, including at least one member from the House Finance Committee and at least one member from the House Executive Departments and Administration Committee. The President of the Senate appoints three members of the Senate to the joint committee. Appointments must be made no later than December 30 following a general election. Members elect the committee chair, which must rotate between a House and a Senate member, biennially.[1]

Function
State statute describes the Information Technology Oversight Committee's functions as follows:

The commissioner [of the Department of Information Technology] shall report quarterly to the committee on the activities of the department, including the status of the state information technology plan, the organizational structure of information technology employees among state agencies, and financial budget tracking related to information technology.[2][1][3] |
