Eileen C. Moore is an associate justice on the Fourth District, Third Division of the California Courts of Appeal. She was appointed by Governor Gray Davis and, after her confirmation, took the oath of office on December 22, 2000. She was retained by voters in 2002 and 2010.[1]
Education
Moore attended the University of California at Irvine, graduating in 1975. She received her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1978. Moore also holds an LL.M. in judicial process from the University of Virginia.[2][3][4]
Military service
Moore served as a combat nurse with the U.S. Army Nurse Corps during the Vietnam War.
Career
After graduating from law school, Eileen Moore worked in the Law Offices of Herbert Hafif until 1989. That year, she was appointed to the Orange County Superior Court, where she served until her appointment to the California Fourth District Court of Appeal in 2000.[2][3]
