Paul Coffee
Paul Coffee was a justice on the Second District, Division Six of the California Courts of Appeal. He was appointed by former Governor Wilson and took his oath of office on April 15, 1997. He was retained on November 2, 2010.[1] On January 31, 2012, he retired from the bench.[2]
Education
Paul Coffee graduated from Berkeley in 1954 and received his law degree in 1962 from the Boalt Hall School of Law, Berkeley.[3][4]
Career
Paul Coffee was part of Wines, Coffee & Robinson from 1963 to 1975. He then worked for Hoge, Fenton, Jones & Appel from 1975 to 1992. He became a judge on the San Luis Obispo Superior Court, where he served until 1997.[3][4]
Elections
2010
Coffee was retained to the appellate court with 70.8% of the vote in 2010.[5]
