William Robert Smith
William Robert Smith Sr. (1863-1924) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.
He was nominated by President Woodrow Wilson on April 11, 1917 to a new seat created by 39 Stat. 938. He was confirmed by the Senate on April 12th, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on August 16, 1924.[1] Smith was succeeded in this position by Charles Albert Boynton.
