Ashton Williams
Ashton Williams (1891-1962) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of South Carolina.
Williams was nominated by President Harry Truman on June 17, 1952, to replace Julius Waring. He was confirmed by the Senate on July 2nd, and received his commission on June 3rd. He served until his death on February 25, 1962.[1] Williams was succeeded in this position by Charles Simons.
