	Texas House of Representatives; State legislative elections, 2010

Elections for the office of Texas House of Representatives were held in Texas on November 2, 2010. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 4, 2010, the primary election day was on March 2, and the primary runoff was held April 13. All 150 seats were up for election.

Heading into November 2, the Republican Party held a majority of the 150 seats in the Texas House, with 75 seats to the 73 seats held by Democrats, along with two vacancies.

$71.3 million was spent in 2008 on Texas state house campaigns, or an average of $475,000 per seat.

After the election, Republicans picked up 24 seats to bring their total to 99 in the House. Two Democrats would later switch parties, giving the Republicans a supermajority in the chamber.

26 incumbents faced competition in the March 2 primary. Seven incumbents lost to their challengers. Four Democrats, Tara Rios Ybarra, Dora Olivo, Norma Chavez and Al Edwards lost to challengers. Three Republicans Betty Brown, Tommy Merritt, and Delwin Jones lost to their primary opponents.
