Fred James Cassibry (1918-present) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

Cassibry was nominated by President Lyndon Johnson on October 11, 1966, to a new seat created by 80 Stat. 75; he was confirmed by the Senate on October 20, 1966, and received commission on November 3, 1966. he assumed senior status on March 15, 1984. He served the Eastern District of Louisiana until his retirement in 1987.[1] Cassibry died on July 6, 1996.
