Denis Reagan Hurley (1937-present) is a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Hurley was nominated by President George H.W. Bush on June 27, 1991, to a new seat created by 104 Stat. 5089. he was confirmed by the Senate on October 31, 1991, and received commission on November 5, 1991. Hurley was succeeded in this position by Joseph Bianco. He assumed senior status on December 18, 2004.[1]
Education
Hurley earned his B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business in 1959, his M.B.A. from Columbia University in 1962 and his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 1966.[1]
