United States Circuit Court for the Northern District of Illinois

The United States Circuit Court for the Northern District of Illinois was established on February 13, 1855, at the same time as the creation of the Northern and Southern district courts. It was abolished on March 3, 1911, along with the rest of the circuit court system.[1]
