Charles Leavy
Charles Henry Leavy (1884-1952) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.
Leavy was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on October 23, 1941, to a seat vacated by Edward Cushman; he was confirmed by the Senate on February 18, 1942, and received commission on February 25, 1942. He assumed senior status on August 31, 1952. He served the Western District of Washington until his death on September 25, 1952. Leavy was succeeded in this position by George Boldt.
