George Bethune Adams
George Bethune Adams (1845-1911) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
He received a recess appointment from President William McKinley on August 30, 1901 and was nominated on December 5th. He was confirmed by the Senate on December 17, 1901, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on October 9, 1911.[1] Adams was succeeded in this position by Julius Marshuetz Mayer.
