William Parkinson (Indiana)
William Lynn Parkinson (1902-1959) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.[1]

Judicial career
Seventh Circuit
Parkinson was nominated to the Seventh Circuit by President Dwight Eisenhower on August 21, 1957, to a seat vacated by Hardress Swaim; he was confirmed by the Senate on August 22, 1957, and received his commission on August 26, 1957. He served the Seventh Circuit until his death on October 26, 1959.[1]
Northern District of Indiana
Parkinson was nominated to the Northern District of Indiana by President Dwight Eisenhower on August 2, 1954, to a new seat created by 68 Stat. 8; he was confirmed by the Senate on August 6, 1954, and received commission that same day. He served the Northern District of Indiana until he was elevated to the Seventh Circuit on September 9, 1957.[1] Parkinson was succeeded in this position by Robert Grant.
