George Moore (1878-1962) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.

He was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on May 20, 1935 to replace Charles Breckenridge Faris. He was confirmed by the Senate on May 28th, and received commission May 29th. From 1948 to 1959, he was the chief judge. On January 19, 1962, he assumed senior status and continued to serve in this capacity until his death on November 5, 1962. Moore was succeeded in this position by James Meredith.
