William Gray (California)
William Percival Gray (1912-1992) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Gray was nominated to the Southern District of California by President Lyndon Johnson on June 13, 1966, to a seat vacated by Harry Westover; he was confirmed by the Senate on June 29, 1966, and received commission on July 2, 1966. He served the Southern District of California until he was assigned to the Central District of California on September 18, 1966. He assumed senior status on March 26, 1982. He served the Central District of California until his death on February 10, 1992. Gray was succeeded in this position by Pamela Rymer.
