Elwyn Shaw
Elwyn Riley Shaw (1888-1950) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Shaw was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on March 7, 1944, to a seat vacated by Charles Woodward; he was confirmed by the Senate on May 3, 1944, and received commission on May 9, 1944. He served the Northern District of Illinois until his death on July 18, 1950.[1] Shaw was succeeded in this position by Joseph Perry.
