John Alton Reed, Jr. (1931-present) was a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Reed was nominated by President Richard Nixon on July 6, 1973, to a seat vacated by William McRae; he was confirmed by the Senate on August 3, 1973, and received commission three days later. He resigned on December 31, 1984. Reed was succeeded in this position by Patricia Fawsett.
