Francis Eugene Worley (1908-1974) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Customs and Patent Appeals. Worley died on December 17, 1974.
Federal judicial service
Worley was nominated to the Court of Customs and Patent Appeals by President Harry Truman. He was confirmed on March 8, 1950. He served as chief judge following an appointment to that position from Dwight Eisenhower, which was confirmed on April 29, 1959. He then served as chief judge until he assumed senior status on June 26, 1972, in which capacity he served until his death on December 17, 1974.[1]
