Harris Wangelin

Harris Kenneth Wangelin (1913-1987) was a federal judge on the Eastern and the Western District Courts of Missouri.

Wangelin was nominated simultaneously to both courts by President Richard Nixon on December 8, 1970, to a seat vacated by Roy Winfield Harper; he was confirmed by the Senate on December 17, 1970, and received commission on December 22. He served as chief judge of the Eastern District from 1979 until he assumed senior status on both courts on May 10, 1983. He served until his death on June 10, 1987.
