John Lifland
John C. Lifland (1933-present) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Lifland was nominated by President Ronald Reagan on February 29, 1988, to a seat vacated by Clarkson Fisher; he was confirmed by the Senate on May 19, 1988, and received commission the next day. He assumed senior status on June 15, 2001, and he retired on May 31, 2007. Lifland was succeeded in this position by William Martini.
